RATIONALE

On April 7,  World Health Organization celebrates the “World Health Day”.

On April 7-13, 2025, the “Vein Week” will be remind the world that there is no real health without proper vein-lymphatic care. 

VISION

– To increase venous-lymphatic public and health professional awareness.

   To develop a global scientific/educational organizations teamwork in delivering a united message.

MISSION

   to follow a COMMON CALENDAR during the dedicated week
in which every LOCAL REALITY develops its own initiatives,
while sharing them with the rest of the team
AROUND THE WORLD.

PRIMARY ENDPOINT

   To REPORT to health institutions  the importance of venous-lymphatic 

Public & Health professional awareness.

   To make an effective call to action from world renowned Key Opinion Leaders.



VEIN WEEK CALENDAR

 

a) MONDAY, April 7  (WORLD HEALTH DAY)

EDUCATION TO HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

hybrid online & on-site educational activity addressed to health professionals.

b) TUESDAY, April 8

EDUCATION TO NON-HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

hybrid online & on-site educational activity addressed to non-health professionals.

c) WEDNSDAY, April 9

HUMANITARIAN MEDICAL SUPPORT

free clinical work in favor of severe chronic venous disease and/or lymphatic patients with limited economic means, while educating local health professionals.

d) THURSDAY, April 10

MULTI-MEDICAL SPECIALTIES INVOLVEMENT

hybrid online & on-site educational activity addressed to medical specialties nearby the venous-lymphatic world (OBgyn, Orthopedy, Physiatry, Physiotherapy, Sport Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, General medicine)

e) FRIDAY, April 11

SPORT EVENTS

sport gathering open to the public dedicated to public venous & lymphatic awareness increasing. A collaboration with the national and international sport institutions is suggested.

f) SATURDAY, April 12

SOCIAL EVENTS

social gathering open to the public dedicated to public venous & lymphatic awareness increasing. A collaboration with the local Rotary/Lions Clubs or similar is suggested.

g) SUNDAY, April 13

MEDIA INVOLVEMENT

radio/TV initiative dedicated to venous/lymphatic topics
